Sanford later joined Merrill Lynch and became Vice President, Wealth Management Advisory. During his 16-year tenure, Sanford managed more than $100 million in client assets and liabilities and co-developed a three-year, $77 million pilot project creating financial opportunities for the regions ethnically diverse communities. Sanford earned one of Merrill Lynch’s most prestigious honors, the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his enduring leadership and excellence, both professionally and in the community. Sanford founded VisionWise Capital in January 2013, which now controls and manages $51 million of real estate assets.

Prior to forming Arixa Capital, Mr. Brzeski was Vice President of Acquisitions at Standard Management Company. While there, Mr. Brzeski’s responsibilities included identifying properties to acquire and bridge loans to originate; underwriting, and negotiating to purchase properties and originate loans. Prior to this, Mr. Brzeski was a successful entrepreneur. He co-founded and served as CEO of STV Communications, Inc., a media services businesses that he sold in 2000. In this role, Stephanie engages federal regulatory agencies, such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Securities and Exchange Commission on issues impacting commercial real estate. Prior to joining NAR, Stephanie was the Manager of Building Codes Policy for the American Institute of Architects (AIA). While at the AIA, Stephanie was responsible for assisting industry codes and standards stakeholders and governmental entities at the local, state and federal level in codes and standard development efforts to benefit AIA members. She was heavily involved in guiding AIA’s engagement in the creation and publication of the 2012 IgCC and the AIA resource materials that accompany it. She has previously worked at the National Association of Home Builders and the law firm of Smith Pachter McWhorter PLC. Stephanie earned her Juris Doctorate at the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Richmond. Prior to joining GE Mr. Philips was employed at Professional Real Estate Services (PRES) as a Senior Associate in the Acquisition & Investments team, with a primary focus on office and industrial properties as well as multi-family and retail. He was responsible for pursuing new investment opportunities, return and valuation analysis, contract negotiations, due diligence coordination, market analysis, investor relations, and debt financing.
Prior to moving to the west coast he worked in New York for Aareal Bank AG as a Senior Financial Analyst, where he underwrote over $750 million of multi-family, office, retail, hotel and other real estate assets. Mr. Philips also spent nearly four years at Goldman Sachs as an Intermediate Analyst and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette as an Analyst in Wealth Management Services, where he successfully obtained the NASD – Series 7, 24, & 63 Licenses.

Prior to founding Ground Lease Capital, Mr. Waldman was the cofounder of Spectrum Advisors, a family of companies consisting of a mezzanine fund, a title insurance agent and a 1031 exchange company, where he represented both high net worth and institutional investors in the acquisition of ground leases and leasehold positions in excess of $700 million. Notable transactions include the land where the Water Club Hotel at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey is located as well as the land where Cummings Research Park, in Huntsville, Alabama is located. Earlier in his career, Mr. Waldman was responsible for the 1031 exchange practices for two Fortune 500 companies, First American Title Company and Land America Title Insurance Company. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of these divisions, Mr. Waldman advised law firms, accounting firms, and investors on 1031 exchange structures. Mr. Waldman has also served on the board as the fund raising chairperson of the Mid-Hudson Valley Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

He was responsible for pursuing new investment opportunities, return and valuation analysis, contract negotiations, due diligence coordination, market analysis, investor relations, and debt financing.
Prior to moving to the west coast he worked in New York for Aareal Bank AG as a Senior Financial Analyst, where he underwrote over $750 million of multi-family, office, retail, hotel and other real estate assets. Mr. Philips also spent nearly four years at Goldman Sachs as an Intermediate Analyst and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette as an Analyst in Wealth Management Services, where he successfully obtained the NASD – Series 7, 24, & 63 Licenses.

Mr. Philips received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from State University of New York at Albany and has a Master's in Business Administration from Pepperdine University with advanced study of international business at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKST) in Hong Kong, China and Austral University (IAE) in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
