About The Conference

iGlobal Forum continues to monitor the rapidly evolving COVID-19 outbreak. The health of our community is our first priority and this event has been postponed at a later date in 2020. Please stay tuned for updates.

iGlobal Forum is postponing the 10th Real Estate Mezzanine Financing Summit until further notice. It's the most established senior-level conference designed by and for the U.S. real estate mezzanine financing industry. One of the biggest risks at present in the market is being tied to the economic cycle and the volatility of the market in this late stage. Deal volume is choppy and low and the market is also experiencing inconsistent deal flow which is normally experienced in pre-crisis times. National and international political shocks equally have huge implications for the market. With the current abundance of capital in the market as new players including foreign investors enter the market, these plethora of new entrants are chasing fewer deals which in turn has implications for pricing and credit/ covenants. The event brings together both lenders and borrowers together to discuss these key and pertinent issues in this capital saturated market.

Key Topics Covered

  • Geopolitical, economic and political movements and the implications for the US real estate mezzanine financing market
  • The current state of the property and capital markets
  • The trends and challenges of loan structuring in the mezzanine market
  • Capital raising and financing – the view of the national and foreign investor
  • The resurgence of CLOs amidst rising debt funds and the impact on the mezzanine loan market
  • Supply and demand dynamics within the large loan mezzanine debt market

  • Real estate owners, operators and developers
  • Mortgage REITs
